AY (Finnair) Fares to Europe

So what is AY business class like.
I have only flown Qantas and Cathay

Its excellent; a match for both QF and CX in my opinion. There are a number of AY fans here on AFF and a number of reviews in Trip Reports nonpop and my own come to mind, but certainly others too.

I should also say, don't expect too much on the internal Europe flights with AY. You are down the front of the plane and that's about it. Instead of the economy section with three in a row, you have 1 0 1 layout.

That's standard 'Eurobusiness' and not particular to AY.

AY feels very similar to CX, just perhaps each suite being a fraction smaller. The food on our flights was great, the beds were lay flat and we slept well. IMO anyone considering paid J should be looking at AY.
