Hi, i'm wanting to make an award booking for my family. I don't have enough points for the 4 of us. Only for 3. So can I buy the 4th seat and somehow get the two bookings combined so we get seats allocated together?

Chris.

Once you have made all the bookings call Qantas and provide the reference numbers of the bookings and they should be able to link the bookings so that is taken into consideration for seating allocation. If seats are automatically allocated after you make the booking then get the operator to change the allocated seats once they link the bookings.

The linking of bookings in this manner is called within the industry a TCP (as in "Total Complete Party").
