Dear brains trust, I have a question please
We’re going on a driving holiday around Tassie in July, where (hopefully) we may see a bit of snow.
This includes driving up around Cradle Mountain resort.
I have learned that car hire companies (we’ve selected Avis) may exclude us from going there (above the snowline)?
Or if they allow it, may insist on a surcharge and tyre chains.
Has anyone got any experience/insight into this please?
