AV redemption help - possible with KF miles?

Hello everyone. Scratching my head here trying to figure out if possible or not.

Have a boatload of points with KF and keen to use them on a reward flight South America on Avianca.

In short, is it possible to book AV flights (I can see lifemile seats available) using KF points?

As AV is a member of Star Alliance (*A) - you should be able to book award seats with KF - if they don't show up online then you need to call KF. For some reason KF cannot always 'see' award seats on other *A airlines but you won't know unless you call.

Yeah the challenge is when I've called KF they can see an available reward seat but say they can't book it for me
