I’ve mentioned before that there is more to it than just that.
The closure was crazy and should have been handled very differently no doubt though

I made the keeping safe joke but to my surprise, it wasn't taken as a joke. He was quite passionate about "we don't have it here, why would we let it in.." I understand.

I consider Covid-related banter off limits now (like politics/religion) as aspects of people - we thought we knew -emerge and challenge.
I’m OK with that.

Ive learnt a lot the past 18 months about human behaviour ; just reinforces the only behaviour I can change is mine.

Edit: I will elaborate - if other people’s behaviour is challenging I can choose what I will do about it

I agree. The politics/religion comparison is very valid. I'll still discuss these topics with people but I sound them out very carefully before I'll speak frankly. It's exactly the same with Covid. Someone you thought quite normal turns out to be a rabid anti-vaxxer with strong, and irrational, conspiracy theory beliefs! I don't meet many in Tassie and it's always a surprise when I encounter them elsewhere. I've learnt to be careful.

Haven’t met many in Tassie? Hint, drive to Burnie and keep driving west you will literally run over herds of them 😂

Anyway, in the states which have nailed their vaccination programs there is less need to really talk about it anymore.

But in the slow states like where I live it’s important we keep talking about it and tighten the screws in all ways on these people who are holding us all back. I don’t care who I talk to about it, but being in the line of work I’m in I’m very confident of my ability to directly deliver some hard facts to anti vaxxer morons, and have, many times :)

So is it saved? Instead of Hobart or Canberra, I thought a second test at Adelaide Melbourne or Sydney might have been an option (probably the latter two are move advantageous from a playing perspective)

The actual CHO, Andy Robertson, is a medico but he's invisible.

McGowan is both Premier and Treasurer and he calls the shots.

Both those blokes were in the Navy at HMAS Stirling.

Pity they returned & others didn't.

How can you be premier & treasurer & hide your decision behind a Cho that is invisible.

Take the ashes test off them. Say it now CA FFS.

NSW residents can't enter the state but NSW cricketers can on a pissy 5 day Q'tine. It's a joke that I can't laugh at. Disgusting.

I noted an article saying a 5-day quarantine would mean Day 1 is played under a players bubble or the match starts a day later.
