Game set match, and championship. OMFG - what a match!!!
So worked up how on earth will I get to sleep.
 
I'm getting offline, will be watching the presentation and heading to bed for 4 or so hours before waking up before heading to work! Have a good night everybody. Loved the AFF commentary on the game :)

Just got home from the match. Tiring even for the spectators!
 
Probably the best match I've ever seen.

However now flicked it to onehd and sports cars is on! Ugh hah
 
Well I just finished packing the gear and dropping it back to the office! What a night!!
 
I don't know why they don't start earlier. This happens a lot here (and at the US Open) - wimbledon finals kick off earlier and end earlier. A lot of people would have tottered off to bed half way through the game which is lost audience for advertisers...

The final used to be at 2pm. It was moved to the evening a few years ago for TV (surprise surprise!).

Remember the overseas TV audience is far bigger than ours.

From memory we've only had a few that went past midnight, last night also had a roof closing too.

Most finals have finished between 10-11pm
 
i must admit i fell asleep in bed during the 5th set and only reading this did i find out who won..

Fantastic match, good on them both!!
