Went well for me. Train at 8am and shuttle service coach seamless. Coming back as well very easy. 45 minutes show to Melbourne Southern Cross. Great show as well. It was very busy.Traffic disaster. Was on 9 news. Was reading a post on my Facebook feed, someone left Melbourne suburbs 730am. Entered gates at 12.30.
Not sure what the issue is, certainly not the first airshow and usually the crowds are always big.

Can get it from Southern Cross in advance for 15 dollars return.Seems like the lesson is don’t drive. I did the vline once, was all very simple and didn’t cost much. Especially if your coming from the CBD.
Indeed, highlight was the S.Koreans...crazy & amazing.I went on Thursday and knew that the public days would be absolute hell.
Driving out was quite busy and the queue to enter the car park started about a kilometre away.
Whilst it was quickly cleared, the traffic was nothing like it was going to be later in the week.
Got to see lots of planes and exhibits so very happy. The Sth Korean jets were amazing.
Got to sit in the Gold stand without it being full which was good.
I can just image how well behaved that traffic is too. Horrid road at the best of times.Traffic already backed up to Point Cook. Doubt it will move any faster today vs yesterday.
