I want to bring over a fair bit of pet supplies to australia from the US. Some of you maybe aware it's a really good deal and I have many dogs I need to attend to. I'm thinking of flea treatments , heart worm tabs , etc . I know there is a tax once the value of the goods exceed $1,000AUD so if I purchase goods under this amount is there any complications I could run into with the customs or anyone else?

I have done this on a small scale - just declare it - leave contents in original boxes etc that show ingredients - should be OK

So frontline , Advantage and heart guard is not a problem as long as its under $1000AUD value each time is that right ?

Thanks il send them an email. I wonder if they will believe its commercial amounts and charge me

It's 1k AUD including shipping price, and you might have an issue if you do it multiple times in a short while, as it can be seen as splitting shipments. Also may be an issues with medical goods, but for animals may be ok.
