Australia Post travel insurance

I'm considering going with Australia Post for an upcoming Oneworld Classic Flight Reward as they are significantly cheaper than other quotes I have.

Keeping in mind that you often get what you pay for, are there any cautionary tales as to why I should definitely avoid them?

Good question and I’d like to know the answer too! They were offering cruise cover for a domestic SYD-MEL for like $50. I’m certainly gonna be buying it!

I used them a couple of times and claimed a dropped phone resulting in a broken screen. no issues claiming.

The comprehensive insurance includes "Overseas hospital, medical, surgical, nursing, ambulance and emergency dental expenses" so it should include cover for covid treatment.

Good pick up re covid! Hopefully for a two night cruise I should be ok covid-wise (except for pre-departure )

I mainly wanted the cover for emergency evacuation if necessary.

If the entire ship gets covid it won’t be so bad as I have a nice room and won’t mind staying a few more days for free
