The RBA doesnt make or issue passports, they just set the official interest rate.

The blank polymers for the notes are made by CCL Secure who makes polymers for note making for lots of other countries

CCL Secure used to be a subsidiary of the RBA in a different name Securency and in collaboration with a plastics company developed the polymer technology. It is now owned by the Canadians

In 2018 Securency was fined millions in a bribery scandal surrounding its contract with the Malaysians for supply of the polymers.

Passports are indexed annually, so it should not be a surprise there is an increase.

Cool. Now do it for medicare rebates.

What a rip. My new passport is so darkly printed the pages are difficult to read and the stitching is coming undone already (less than 6 months use). But somehow that's my problem.
