Aussie Broadband referral code!

I'm in the identical boat to you. I actually expect them to grandfather the plan. I'll be rather annoyed if they don't actually.

I'm on the fence, it would depend on whether NBN allows RSPs to keep legacy 100/40 customers on the old wholesale pricing scheme. If not, then I wouldn't hold it against ABB for passing the increase on.

As someone in the industry, Aussie Broadband (and Superloop) are your two best bets. If all of the previous refferal codes are not to your fancy, it would be great if you could try mine! ;)

Whilst I have been an ABB customer for around 2 years now and have certainly been happy with their service, I am about to switch to Tasmanian based ISP Launtel.
My reason for switching is that they charge daily which given my/our time away from home will save us quite a few $$ as we can pause our service, even for a day, when not needed.
Like ABB there is a $50/$50 referral code if anybody would like one.

I may look into them when I do more travel again in the future!

Having already been with two NBN providers that have gone bust I'm wary of what looks like unsustainable plans.
NBN doesn't allow daily pausing at the wholesale end.

I'm also looking elsewhere as ABB have announced price rises to their100mbps plans.

My grandfathered 100/40 500GB plan will go from $85 to $105 in November :(

Suspect I'll end up at Superloop but need to do some shopping around. Guess it was too good to last forever...

I'm on the same plan. This a pretty steep price increase! I'll certainly be looking around if they try pull a 23.5% price increase on me. That's ridiculous!

I'm not so sure it is unsustainable given the cost, Launtel are not the cheapest ISP around. What makes it cost effective for us is the amount of time we are away from our PPOR.
that said, what have I got to lose if they go bust? I'll just switch to another ISP.

I use Future Broadband. They rejigged their plans a few weeks ago but seem to be significantly cheaper than Aussie now.

I’ve been very happy with them. They use a static routed business network (good for reliability) and have excellent performance 24x7. Based in Perth.

I have some referral codes $30 for you / $30 for me) but they’re single use so PM if you’d like one. Alternatively if you need a router they have a free router promo code on their website - use that instead.

Worth noting for those on the price increases that ABB have also introduced in between tiers including 100/20, 75/20 and 25/10 which may mitigate the price increases.
All plans now seem to come in 100GB, 500GB and Unlimited.

I've gone from 25/5 300GB to 25/10 500GB now $65.

My code for anyone new - 1565191

Interesting. 75/20 could be useful for those on FTTN who will realistically never get close to 100 down. Personally, my sync was initially around 72 down but that quickly dropped to ~41 after about a week, I assume due to line noise with others also signing up (I was probably one of the first adopters for my node)

Just got the notice from ABB about this. I don't see a 100/40 plan on superloop. What did you land up finding?

I'd even consider the ABB 250 plan if the upload was 40....but 20....seriously?!

Superloop definitely have a 100/40 plan - I'm now paying $74.95 for the next 6 months on the same 100/40 500GB I had with ABB. After 6 months it will revert to $84.95.

I've posted my experience (and referral link) in this post. When you get to the "plans" page there's a 100/40 option. The price quoted is before the $10/month referral discount.

I used your code today as I have a handover date for my new house.

And someone else has used my code. Winner because work pays for my BB but they don't need to see a receipt
