Glad to throw in my referral code as well, which is 2591139 . $50 for both referrer and referee.

Just watch out though, depending on what you are signing up for, you may work out better off by using a different promotion as may be the case from time to time. For example, we recently signed up using "free19" which gave a free month; as we were signing up to a $79/month plan that worked out better for us as a new customer.

I'll throw mine in as well - 1565191
But echo the advice to check online for other codes which my be more beneficial to you

Why I like Aussie. --
Australian owned (currently private)
Australian support team (regional Victoria) (though I've never had to call in 18months)
Transperant about bandwidth at each CVC
Multiple staff active on the Whirlpool forums
New app allows you to do many things - eg. kick connections, line tests (including connection speed for FTTC), port resets.
Custom plans - not one size fits all unlimited
(Eg. I'm currently paying $60/mth for 25/5 300GB)
Allow 3rd party IP phones
Bolt-on packs including calls, unlimited uploads, static IPs

Same advice as other posters, check what works for you.

I've had them for a few months and am very happy.

I'm on the 50/20 unlimited plan for $79 per month

Aussie are great. Remind me of Internode in the old days.

Just waiting for them to get taken over by the TPG behemoth :(

Throwing my referral code into the ring also: 1258953

I've been with ABB for close to 2 years and they've been flawless over that time. I'm signed up to a 100/40 plan via FTTB and see a consistent 95/38 all day every day, with very low domestic and international latency. They continually reinvest in their own network and are the most transparent of the major NBN RSP.

If anyone is thinking of joining and would like some real world speed or latency tests, feel free to send me a PM.

Aussie Broadband is a fantastic provider. I selected them after hearing good things about them and after having problems with a slightly cheaper provider. I have been really happy with them for the 18 months that I've been with them. I've called them a couple of times and it is great to get a knowledgeable person in an Australian call centre to answer the phone.

Also throwing my hat into the ring for anyone thinking of signing up to Aussie Broadband.

Referral code: 914622

Same as above, both of us get $50 when you signup and use this code.

Have been with Aussie Broadband since early 2017. Like others in their thread, they are a wonderful provider and I have no issues recommending them to anyone.

Another strange but useful fact: their DNS is actually good. It's the only one (other than Telstra recently) consistently faster than cloudfront public free DNS on bench tests I've done over the last few months.

Previous isps have all been slower.

Just an update to say that Aussie Broadband is performing very well during COVID-19. I have been really happy with them for the 24 months or so that I've been with them. I've called them a couple of times and it is great to get a knowledgeable person in an Australian call centre to answer the phone.

For anyone on the fence about Aussie Broadband, check out this post on reddit and the comments. This company definitely does the best thing by its customers — this time by passing on wholesale price drops to their customers. My experience with them continues to be top notch and I have no hesitations recommending them to my friends and family.

For anyone thinking of signing up - would really appreciate it if you used my referral code: 914622
(same as above, we both get $50)

My code for anyone who'd like to use it (thanks!) is 2486355 ( I get a $50 credit and you get a $50 credit).

I just went to have a look at their current plans and found the 100/40 500GB plan for which I'm paying $85 is now $95 for new sign ups.

It seems the new 100/20 tier has slotted in with the old 100/40 pricing. I assume ABB would be within their rights to bump me up to $95 given I'm on a month-to-month agreement, will be interesting to see whether they do.

I was also surprised to find their 100/20 unlimited pricing is identical to TPG's, $10 cheaper than iiNet, and a whopping $20 cheaper than Telstra (who seemingly only offer 100mbps to FTTP and HFC customers.... wat?)

My thanks to the couple of people who've used my referral code posted up-thread - it's much appreciated!

Hi all,

An update on Aussie Broadband pertinent to those fortunate enough to be serviced by FTTP and some (for now) customers on HFC.

They're introducing ultra-fast residential plans up to 1Gbit/s down that will be available as of this Friday.

1Gbit/50Mbit unlimited - $149/mth
250Mbit/25Mbit unlimited - $129/mth

Aussie Broadband is yet to update their website but you can read the announcement on Whirlpool here: NBN ultra-fast 1000/50 plans - Aussie Broadband - Whirlpool Forums

A note about the expected speeds from the announcement above: "Because this is a new plan, we don't yet know what the typical evening peak speed will be, so you'll notice that our Critical Information Summary and Key Fact Sheets for now just list the 250 plan peak evening speeds. We think the plan should achieve off-peak speeds of up to 80-90%, depending on the technology type."

If you're thinking of switching across to take advantage, would appreciate it if you used my referral code: 914622
(both of us get $50)

Oh now I'm going to have to seriously consider a TCP upgrade from fttc!
Just adding once again that Aussie BB's service continues to be fantastic for me. Strongly recommend, my referral code is a few posts earlier.

I'm in the identical boat to you. I actually expect them to grandfather the plan. I'll be rather annoyed if they don't actually.
