I tried my USAmex and it worked out poorly because of the exchange rates so don’t go there. Next I tried a US MasterCard and the cost was a killer.
If you want to do a tester do it with $100 or $1,000 rather than a far larger amount.

As it's a Visa, it's 0.72% fees on payments.
Alternatively, through Beem, it's possible to get it done for 0%

Getting an error with using Beem and my NAB card today. Slide to pay --> verify your payment --> internal server error.

Edit: Tried again with $2000 and got the same error. Tried with $1,900 and it went through without the verify your payment button pop up.

I tried $2k, $1k, $500 and $200 on several days. All Internal server error.

My understanding is that re-adding the CC doesn’t help, nor does reinstalling the app. So it’s just a fickle payment system.

I haven't tried higher (maybe scr77 can advise more recent experience). I just use it for SMSF quarterlies with the Dragon

I haven’t tried, but can you open a new Beem account and link just one card? I mean, it’s hard to go past free.

Nice. SO it looks like for ATO payments:
- Beem with Dragon is the best Visa
- Nothing is good for Amex anymore (after Sniip changed the fee)
