Hi I'm looking at travelling Premium economy from HK to SIN to BNE.

HK to SIN will be in PE

SIN to BNE will be economy (no PE option).

Could I try for a paid upgrade to J for the SIN-BNE leg? (Economy to Business) Either upon check in at HK or in transit in Singapore?

Singapore Airlines offers the option to purchase an upgrade at a premium price through their mySQupgrade service, available within 72 hours of your flight. You can access this service at mySQupgrade.

However, it’s important to note that these upgrade prices are often quite steep. There has been considerable feedback indicating that the upgrade costs are essentially equivalent to the fare differences.

See this forum post here: mySQupgrade: Post your bidding experiences here! - FlyerTalk Forums

And for instance, this is the offer I received from mySQupgrade back in February 2023.
Rm5,700 = AUD 1.9k
