Inspired by the post on FlyerTalk, but thought I should repost here as it may interest some people travelling to Europe for their summer.
Bit of an ugly stopover at ICN on the way over (16 hours). Other dates include Aug 12 - Aug 29, and other combinations in mid-late August, which also has a better stopover time. The better stopovers seem to be on Saturday's, but will admit I haven't exhaustively checked.
Is cheapest if you book through an OTA, but Asiana's website prices the fare at ~$5,800 AUD, so not too much difference if it gives peace of mind.
