Asia Miles - booking question (2+ pax)

Hi guys,
Haven't booked with Asia Miles before but there's availability on an itineray I'm looking at for 2 people.
Need to transfer my points from Membership Rewards, so can't get to the booking screen as I currently have 0 Asia Miles.
Is it easy to book the second person (e.g. like on QF or VA), or is it like Singapore where they have to be registered on your account etc?

They need to be registered as one of your redemption group.

A long time since I did it, but IIRC you can do it online quite easily of you have no one else registered as yet.
