Further to Hvr's answer, your Qantas status allows you access to any oneworld lounge prior to the departure of a oneworld flight.

Jetstar is not a member of oneworld, so you cannot access the CX lounge.

(There are exceptions where passengers are departing on Jetstar flights and lounge arrangements have been made with third parties, but that doesn't apply here.)

I have been allowed to enter a CX lounge in KUL, flight on a 3K flight (with a QF number) to SIN.

thanks. No i can spend some time ih HKG QF lounge and many hours at th SIN QF lounge waiting for my flight to DPS
You need to take note of the opening hours of the lounges. In HKG, you'll probably be ok, but in SIN, none of the scheduled flights to DPS co-incide to the opening hours of the lounge.

And that is one of the exceptions MEL_Traveller is referring to.

I was actually wondering if that was an incorrect allowance for entry? jetstar seems to have its own lounge arrangements for KL (Plaza Premium)... and under OW rules, you need to be on a OW marketed and operated flight. Either there's a special arrangement with that CX lounge, or the agent got confused with the QF flight number? (edited to add that I just read your post... so maybe a special agreement?)

Anyway - from July, JQ will be moving to Terminal 2 at KLIA... so no CX lounges :(
