Interesting. Wonder which aircraft.
Possibly it's OQB which has reportedly been undergoing refit since 23/2 and they just haven't updated the GDS maps.

Just got an aircraft change notification alert from expertflyer for my QF12 flight next week.
Apparently it's been changed from a refurbished A380 to the old A380 config (non refurbished one) ughh.. 😓

What does QF show under MMB?

VH-OQB back in the sky today as QF17 SYD-LAX.

Expertflyer shows old seat map, so seemingly not refurbed in SYD.

A post on airliners.net that it will shortly fly to AUH/DRS for refurb

Very weird given it spent months in AUH last year, and then months on the ground in SYD. Wonder what work they were actually doing.

Per another thread after operating a few SYD-LAX services, OQB has now flown to AUH for its 3rd maintenance session in a year.

The elected government needs to introduce a law into parliament banning the use of Unrefurb'd Skybed A380s in Australia.

Of course, having several J awards this year on the big fella does not sway my opinion :)
