Just a little story of the Grandkids(OK surrogate grandkids but we have been going to grandparents day for 11 years with them now). They are lucky and virtually all their international travel is in J.Several times I have travelled with 3 then 4 of them. Not once have they misbehaved.
On one occasion flying MCO-LGA we were in F they were down the back. The crew were frazelled. Were obviously at the end of the day and 2 toilets were out of action and they were copping heaps from other pax.Granddaughter then 7 drew a picture of the crew(and she is pretty good). She then put underneath "to the best crew in the world".One came up to F and showed me saying your grandchildren are just perfect. They finished the flight with smiles.I hope their fellow Y pax were grateful.
Then the famous occasion when their mother had to fly to the UK as her mother was very ill.She had to take granddaughter 4.As this was unscheduled and at the last minute they had to fly Y.Miss 4-"mummy,what is economy?"

Coming in a bit late, but I just want to mention that you're also all focusing a lot on the kids. I've only had one kind of bad experience involving a child and the biggest thing that annoyed my was the total uselessness of the parents. At least 3 times the child managed to get a look at me over the seat and it only took a smile and a wave and the child stopped crying. Then the stupid mum would drag the kid back down onto her shoudler and he'd start screaming again. But at least the mum was trying, the dad sat there like a lump the whole flight and watched movies. Didn't touch the child once.

Anyway, I can't blame the kid at all. He obviously wanted to be entertained even by other pax, like me , but his parents (mum) kept trying to put him to sleep.
