Which is a better choice of food for an early morning
7.20 am flight, Marhaba lounge or the AMEX?
I'm guessing you are referring to MEL International? Marhaba for a couple reasons. First the Centurion lounge opens at 6 AM whereas the Marhaba opens at 5 AM meaning you'll actually have some time to spend at the lounge. Second, Centurion is located underground, like the QF J lounge (i.e. dungeon, no light) whereas Marhaba lounge is located on same level of Qantas F lounge meaning you'll get sunlight and apron views. Third Marhaba lounge has slightly better catering. The only reason I could think one would want to bother with the Centurion lounge at either MEL or SYD is it tends to be less crowded since the only people who can get in are those with Platinum cards.
