Hi guys,

Hope someone can help, searched the boards but have not found the answer.

Arriving into LHR T5 flying BA in F from JFK.

I will be arriving into LHR and not connecting further.

As my flight gets into LHR at 6am I was hoping to use the BA Arrivals Lounge in T5 to freshen up and relax before I make my way into
London.

My understanding is that I will need to clear customs and collect my suitcases? If this is the case, will I still be able to get into the Arrivals lounge
with 2 suitcases or is it purely for people making connections later in the day who have already checked their luggage through to their final destination.

Thanks in advance.
KF:)

I haven't been to that one, but used the AA arrivals lounge in T3 a few years ago (not travelling further that day), and they had a luggage storage section near the entrance for larger luggage (hand luggage stayed with me). Can't see you would have an issue with BA, but I'm sure someone who has used that lounge will chime in soon enough.

I used it last year arriving from JNB on BA.

You pick up bags first. It's just upstairs near check in.

Great Arrivals Lounge. Had a bath, got a massage and had a decent breakfast before heading out.

I have never had a problem taking a suitcase into the LHR T5 Arrivals Lounge.

Arriving at 6am *should* get you a shower room straight away, depending on how the usual quagmire of T5 immigration is flowing that morning. Arriving in F will give you access to the Concorde Room within the lounge for breakfast but sometimes it is more convenient to eat in the general food service area on the communal tables (two suitcases may cause a space issue though).

The lounge can be accessed by going upstairs in the elevator once you are landside (remember to keep your boarding pass). The facilities are really good. Food options are plentiful and you can get your clothes pressed while having a shower.

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your prompt help and assistance, thanks samh004:) for posting the video.
