Hi,

I am QF WP and later this year will be flying on QF to LHR (economy). I have 4 hours to kill (in either T3 or T2 I guess) before taking an EI flight to Dublin (booked separate to my QF booking). Am I able to access a lounge anywhere to grab a shower and avoid the masses in LHR? EI not being in Oneworld seems to be the killer for me here.

Prior to the debacle surrounding Qantas Club access to BA's Galleries lounges (particularly LHR T5) towards the end of last year, there was strong evidence that a WP flying QF to LHR (from SIN, BKK or HKG) could access the BA Arrivals Lounge at T5. However, things are less clear now and, unfortunately, I don't like your chances. At the very least, try, but certainly make no reference to your onwards EI flight. It shouldn't matter but it would be best to keep that part quiet.

If you're really desperate for Lounge Access, access to the AA Arrivals Lounge at T3 can be purchased. According to the AA website cost is US$90 + VAT.

Details here.

Regards,

BD
