So several years back I asked a question about bugs, it was either 2020 or 2021. The f@#kers (bugs) are back, initially one, he/she calls out, then the neighbours bugs start. The sound is not that bad but somewhat annoying as they never shut up. Can one get rid of them without poison or is it just something I will have to put up with.

Edit - All the neighbours bugs have just gone to sleep apart from 1 or 2.

Any pictures? Sounds?

At the time of my original post I did go out and dug up part of the grass and trees but to no avail. I thought they were cicadas but apparently there are more noisy bugs. Bug number 2 has woken up (different section of the yard) and now calling out. The sound is like crickets i.e. insects banging their wings together and making a buzzing noise.

Probably are crickets.

They can be snoozy as f$#@! Especially if they get inside or decide to hangout near an external door or window… Maybe invite some bush turkeys in for a feast…
