QF WPs get access to the QP or (in most cases) domestic J Lounges at any time at all - including if they are travelling on other carriers, or even if they are not travelling at all. And they still get their full guesting rights, too.

Then use the status match when you’re going to make best use of it as I guess it’ll only happen once.

I would not count on being able to be guested into the SYD F lounge when you are flying LAN and the person guesting you is on QF11. Both people need to be on the same QF flight unless SYD F lounge reception staff make a rare exception.
