So who is going to take the plunge and upgrade?

My 4S is coming up to two years old (and about to end the contract) so I thought I would upgrade to the 5S.

I am not sure the pricing will be competitive enough in AU for the 5C to sell well.

IMHO 5C is a 5 with some plastic parts and a slight upgrade of the processor.

I'll probably upgrade in a few months. My 4s is working fine and spending the money to upgrade isn't in the budget at the moment.

And I don't know how attractive it will be here with all the alternatives. Maybe the C stands for China!

That's my thinking but if you ask Apple it's Colorful* or Classy.

I'm also using the 4S and the 5S isn't as tempting as the SGS4 to me. It's not enticing enough to make me want to upgrade but at the same time the downside of having to adjust to a new OS that I do not like turns me away from the SGS4. I'm probably just going to keep using the 4S for another year or something.

I think the fingerprint scanner will be very handy (no pun intended). I have yet to use Siri for anything more than 'show and tell'.

I have used Siri a few times and is handy if driving.

Pricing will be the interesting point.

On line price has 5C a bit cheaper than i phone 5 and 5S is about $50 to $150 dearer than 5.

5C does not have a 64GB model.

It was rumoured that there was a 128GB model.

Maybe in the I phone 6 range it will happen.

Mainly sell 16gb's or 64GB's.

Don't sell many 32GB's at all

They also might be concerned that a 128GB iphone will be very battery hungry and also will further eat into there ipod sales.

But that is exactly why I want one, to give up my 120GB iPod.

I have many customers with 128GB ipods and just use there I phones as data devices.

Battery life can be an issue for big users
