I am posting this review as part of my trip report that is here http://www.australianfrequentflyer....otos/bavaria-lake-como-madrid-nthn-69138.html

A 3 night stay in a converted historic building. We are in prime position with fantastic views of moored boats and Puente de la Maza the 32 span bridge (one of the longest in Spain when it was built in the 15[SUP]th[/SUP] century) which acts as our gauge for the changing tide. We can also look out the balconies to the distant breakwall. Fortunately we are fine for an early check in. We are in Apartment 1, approx 80sq m of space, a well equipped kitchenette, washing machine, 2 bedrooms, dining area, separate 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] toilet and 4 Juliet balconies set over 2 levels. All the furniture is a bit aged but does the job. The soundproofing is excellent, maybe helped by part of one wall being a huge rock. For the only time this trip we have no internet-there are cafes/bars down the road within a 5 min walk that have wifi to check emails.

Great view. Apartment looks good - how did you book it? Agency?

Booked on booking.com. We find it useful that the site usually mentions the site of the apartments. Also find the photos useful for trying to avoid being in rooms where the ceiling comes down & impacts on the space-I am tall & really hate the places that have low ceilings in bathrooms & bedrooms
