Hi all
When I followed the link at the beginning of the thread I came to a new offer but without the $0 annual fee. It is nowa cash back offer.

The same thing happened with the ANZ rewards card offers except that there is a separate internet offer whereby one can still get 75000 rewards points with $0 annual fee.

Is there an internet only offer for the ANZ FF Black card that has $0 annual fee? If so can someone please post the link?

think that offer expired mate

seem to have 'stuffed up' ...apparently only 11 months between cards - so no 75k bonus points...really not sure how that happened. got the 75 status credits and the lounge passes though

Interesting, if you got it for no annual fee I'd be happy to take those and move on quietly!

ANZ Frequent Flyer Black Credit Card | ANZ

This is the internet banking offer with no annual fee for the first year and 75k bonus points when you spend $2500 within the first 3 months.

How close would you cut the 12 month exclusion? I have a letter from June 13, 2017 confirming my ANZ QFF Black account closure, have had no ANZ products since then, and would like to sign up again via the no annual fee internet offer (before it disappears...)

If the letter you have states your account was closed on June 13 2017 then as of June 14 2018 you're good to go. Make sure you keep that letter just incase there's problems with the pay out of a new bonus.

Thanks Dr, looks like that sign up is happening right now then! Yep have a scanned copy of the letter - one of the (many) things I've learned from this awesome forum!

Wait another 5 mins and it will be June 15 :)

Good luck with your application.

Fairly painless task, surprisingly. Applied online and was asked to upload payslips (this was over the weekend). By 9:10am on the Monday I had a text advising card had been approved with a fairly high limit. Card arrived on the Thursday. I also applied for this about 5 days after applying for for the NAB card (they weren't as efficient) and that didn't raise any eyebrows aparently.

Nice. Personally I prefer to always get the minimum allowed limit. If I could get the Black with a limit much lower than $15k I would.

Yep so do I. My stupid fault for forgetting to write in the minimum limit. I'll cancel it pretty soon anyway.

As another data point, my other half applied for the card at the same time. Didn't hear anything for 2 weeks, then received two letters declining on the same day. Received a text the next day asking them to call to "discuss". There was no mention of a decline, the call centre person just verified a few details and said "all approved, you'll receive the pack within a week". No idea what's happened there... but each letter (and the text) had a different reference number. Once the card arrives, we'll followup.

You may want to get a copy of your credit report too. You can get a free copy once every 12 months or if you have been declined for credit and can provide proof of that.

Thanks. He only got one a month ago but I didn’t realize you get another one for a declined application

Sweet thanks. Never used CreditSavvy before. The only "open" credit showing (oddly) is a HSBC card that was closed about 2 months ago. Should I be concerned that this is still showing as open? Or is there a delay period. Sorry for the slightly off-topic.

I guess this means that Westpac, Citi, NAB, ANZ, Latitude & Amex don't provided full reporting?

There is a delay. But 2 months seems excesive.

Not yet at least.

They have to report within about 12 days of the EOM the current status, so yes they are late in doing so.

Applied online, uploaded payslips, and was then was then asked for a bank statement (non-ANZ) with 3x recent salary deposits. Sent the statement in with the other transactions redacted, and now have been told that sending a full statement (eg. with details of all deposits and credits) will be required.

I've never been asked for something like this before - I've had ANZ cards in the past and more than meet the income requirement. I almost want to withdraw my application in protest - it's none of their business what I do with my money and 3x payslips from a multinational corporation should be enough. Of course - they are the card issuer and they get to decide, I'm not being forced to apply. Just wondering if anyone else was given such a requirement?
