So if anyone knows every single part of sydney T1, a very very specific question - Is it possible to buy a 500ml can of monster, where from and how much? If not that's fine.

(i want it for the flight so that would be AFTER security... or if you know how to get one past security then tht works)

Vendo/staffed assisted sale?
Tee hee, I would say, no luck for a vendo, as its 375ml can/600ml plastic bottle of other drinks, only.
Sorry, just toying...
Not that I know where you can buy it physically either.
===
Woolworths sells them for $3.85, inc GST.

You don't say if you want it GST free, ie, in dep or if you want it GST inc ie, outside the dep area.

I can’t provide specific details but there are a couple small concessions (Chemist and odds&sods) shops on both piers. They may have it or at least something similar.

Pretty obvious based on the size question (ie not under 100ml LAG restrictions)….

does anyone know when flying out of SYD airport international, are your bags checked for liquid? I wanna sneak a can of monster on my flight to dubai if that's possible.

Checked luggage is fine. Hand luggage - no. It’ll be tossed after they take your bag and you aside…

auugghhh that's annoying... very. I guess i'll chug it before the flight?
Do they come in 100ml size? In theory, you could take 10 of those…

But I suspect you’ll be able to buy something airside - as per the other thread question.

Am I going crazy or did someone ask this exact question a few months ago?

aha. but no they only come in 500ml cans so unless i'm measuring 100mls into 5 containers it's probably not possible

that might be me.... but for a domestic flight.... it's probably me if it's related to monster

I am sure one of the many retailers / F&B outlets in T1 sells Monster

Domestic:

ah but same poster!

Just glad I'm not going crazy!

They’re much the same but neither are particularly good in the long run….

Tropical Red Bull pairs really well with gin in case anyone is wondering

Went to a rooftop bar in Santiago that made a coughtail out of it (but essentially was just that with some fruit tossed in), drinking it in the sun with a view of the Andes - I have recreated that one quite a few times. The old Cranberry Red Bull was also a good mixer but they discontinued that.

I never drink energy drinks on their own, but used to have a bad habit of starting any drinking session off with a rum & Red Bull (the drink of choice in the Caribbean). Definitely not healthy, so I only do it every now and again these days.;
