Hi All,

Has anyone used a car seat for their child on SQ recently (when purchased their own seat, he is over 2 but under 3)? Our little fella is pretty busy, and being able to have him in a seat he uses all the time will be really helpful, plus I think he will sleep better in it.

I have consulted their website and all seems pretty self explanatory:

I did call them up to see if could just get it noted on the booking, but after trying one chat session and one phone session they didnt really understand what I was on about and I didnt really get anywhere, and as website doesn't say its necessary to call up I haven't bothered again. (vs QF, which I haven't done, but needs you to call and talk to a special team when planning to use car seat).

Our car seat is compliant with the required standards and has the correct sticker to say it can be fitted to an aircraft without a top tether (just the lap belt)

Itinerary is MEL-SIN-CDG in PE and then AMS-SIN-MEL in J.

We are arriving in MEL early and have a day hotel so I will use those extra hours to go and check at the SQ desk any requirements so not doing it at the last minute (there is a flight departing before ours so there will be people at the desk to ask).

Thanks from anyone that has any input!
