On the phone to Qantas at the moment, still cannot access Exit Row Seats,Advanced Select seat, Additional Baggage- greyed out for QF24 Monday week.
Very helpful CSO Melanie has been able to find out that this is due to a change in the way QF collect payments for these extras. This booking is an old one and apparently will 'never' be fixed for the new system.So I still will not be able to access at T-80.
We usually book (being lowly Bronze) our preferred seats at T-80, and happy to pay. Melanie explained she could not get us our prefered seat section at this time as still blocked to us, but asked us to hold on.
She has just came back and advised seating was able to release our seats provided we paid the $25 each seat selection fee.Happy to do so.
So a good result and a good QF experience- CSO Melanie went out of her way to find the reason for the glitch, and help work around the problem. So thank you Melanie and QF for employing/training such good people.


Excellent to hear. We had a lovely young lady helping us (to no avail unfortunately) find some seats over Easter.
 
Just logged into MMB and found that my MEL-SYD-HKG flight was booked on 01/01/1970.
Tried to post a pic, but not sure if it worked.
Also I have a MEL-SIN booking next month and can't select seats, book a car or upgrade. All of the sections are greyed out.
What an earth is happening with the QF website. VERY frustrating....!!!!!:oops:

I'm not sure QF themselves know what's happening but there certainly are issues. I have 2 out of three bookings with greyed out buttons for seat selection, change, cancel etc. I've logged the issue and have a service number - 6 days ago. No response as yet.
