I was lucky enough to be on yesterday's QF452 which was a tumultuous journey as per the flight record below.
We made it SYD, circled then turned right back around, waited on the ground for 30 mins and then let off after the flight was finally cancelled.
My questions are:
1) what did QF do or do they typically do for accom? I just booked another night on the corporate rate at Westin and didnt muck around at the airport. Got onto the platinum line in 5 secs and rebooked very quickly later that night with a choice of times.
2) I have already received SCs for yesterday's flight so will I receive more for today's rebooked flight at the same fare class?
