Any suggestion on seat selection for 4 pax in J - SQ 218 and SQ 237?

Hi all,

Any suggestion on the seat selection for 2 adults and 2 children? Currently I've just selected the first available row (Row 11)...

Regarding SQ 237, should I get 4 across? or 2 in the middle (front and back)? Will it be easy for the adult to attend to the child with the partition?

Row 11 on the A380 lacks windows, not such a nice seat. And it's off-set from the middle ones.

Row 11 on the 777 is however very nice!

It depends how old the kids are. If one of them is able to be seated by themselves without needing supervision, I'd go for 11A child, 11D adult, 11F child needing supervision), 11K adult. You can reach across the partition, it's a little bit of a stretch, but 'OK'. Seating the adults as described (D and K) means each adult can easily reach a child across the aisle if necessary.

If both children are young that they will need direct contact, go for 2 in the middle, one behind the other. Definately take row 11 - much better legroom. And then row 12. For the A380, well, take your pick.

That's a very good idea for 11A child, 11D adult, 11F child needing supervision), 11K adult, will definitely do this for 777

Interesting, I am also booked SQ218 with 4 J, 2 adults and 2 kids. We picked 12/14 F/K instead.
