Hey guys i was wondering is any one was travilling to melbourne before the 1 july,

I was wondering if you can take my skiis across.. (I am to poor to pay for postage and well they it wont come by the first of july...)

So yeah, i can give you a lift anywhere in melbourne
lol cheers thanks alot!

Hi random101 and welcome to AFF.

Given the recent boogie board "incident", I suspect many members wouldn't be enthusiastic to comply with your request. However being an avid skier/ snowboarder myself, I understand your reluctance to depart with your favorite 4 legs.

Considering it will probably be more expensive to hire skiis on your upcoming (I presume) ski trip, wouldn't it be better to borrow money to have the skiis shipped?

Thanks glad to be here

boogie board incident?? oooow Schapelle Corby, (oct 8th) my b'day lol

Yeah mmm my sister that is over there can meet you and pack them and put them through, sighn a contract saying there wont be drugs.. ect... ect....

lol, ahhh yeah it costs $102 euros to be sent, which i was willing to pay, Although they would arrive around 12th, 13th of july.....
(when i would be heading home)

IMHO (in my humble opinion) it doesn't matter if your sister, her baker or designer dressmaker was there to greet me. Have a look at "this question just has to be asked" thread to get some perspective. However there's nothing wrong with asking questions and I'd be happy if someone was prepared to help you out.

I believe there is a "living in melbourne" or something forum. Perhaps ask there? A spot of cash and an offer of something could induce someone to lend you their skiis?

Just a thought. Good luck!

boogie board incident?? oooow shilpal corrby or how ever you spell her name...... (oct 8th) my b'day lol

It's easy to learn about the correct spelling just by consulting google.

cpl, give random101 a bit of leeway - they're German and English is their second language. Yes, I agree that they could have easily done a google search, but not everybody does what we'd do...

Ich wette, daß ihr Englisch besser als mein Deutscher ist, nicht wahr random101

zugestimmt,

Although i think its to late now... so i will just give it i pass..

Thanks again :)
