Looks like I have also been approved. :D

Very pleasing, as I was shuddering at the thought of having to fly without lounge access when using my Plat Edge free flight.

Submitted my request a few hours before cutoff on 6th August-checked again today and now I'm gold. First EY flights in a couple of weeks (PER-LHR) in J... should be good! :p
 
I got mine yesterday too.

Looking forward to flying more with them - I must say I was pretty impressed with the inflight service I received in J on a couple of flights back in February: everything from giving me a hand-written list of insider tips for AUH, to being very flexible with the meal service (I didn't like the thought of eating "breakfast" prior to an evening arrival on EY454 AUH-SYD, so they organised a full dinner service for me instead - I also suspect that they gave me a main from F as the dish wasn't on the J menu).
 
Just logged in and I am back up to gold ( had it previously but dropped one level this year as no recent flights to requalify on EH) with the status match

This will help a lot if flying VA for lounge etc!

After applying for this status match I hadn't heard anything but noticed tonight on my August EY E-statement (zero points) that I was now Gold Tier status. So I logged in to double check and the indication is that my EY Guest Gold card was dispatched on the 12/8/14. Better start reading up on the program benefits I guess :shock: and give 'em a go.
 
Got the same - statement via email with shiny new status. Now, apart from VA & EK lounge access, what does it get me? ;)
 
Sent my match in late a day or two after the end date, hopefully they let it go through, if not oh well, next time!

For those who were matched recently and have received the card, what is the expiry date on the card? I couldn't find the expiry date of my new Gold anywhere on the etihad guest site.
 
Also was successful for Gold, though still waiting for a retro claim for a ANZ flight in June, same as ongoing problem with VA they're all tight. I'll take QF any day!
