Looks like OQB might be back in service on Sunday. It's showing as operating as QF11.
Thanks! Love to know how you found out. Im flying on qf 11 on friday, so I'm happy that things may be getting back to "normal" by then...

Easy. Looked up the aircraft on our ops dashboard ;). Looks like a final part has to come up from Melbourne.

Goodness. That's the last place I would have expected a part to arrive from. I'd have though such items would mostly be in Sydney.

I believe something to do with the slide was being repaired. Probably not the entire slide/raft itself but something to do with it.

Ops dashboard? I'm a newbie and just been looking at flightaware etc. Or are you in house?
I'm an insider. I can't see beyond the next operating flight for each aircraft so not sure what will be operating your flight on Friday yet. I'm sure it will all be fine for your flight.
