Another 50% SC promo

The excitement of getting an SC bonus wears a little thin when it takes more than 8 weeks after the completion of flights to actually see the bonus on your statement. I've been waiting since November 27 for mine. 3 emails (a new reference number assigned each time) and one phone call (in which eligibility was confirmed) but nothing so far.

And while I'm in a complaining mood, why so long to assign bonus points? Still waiting for mine from the pre-Christmas voucher offer.

Who knew that waiting so patiently would work? I'd actually given up hope but there it was this morning. Now to convince MrNatalie that I NEED to go somewhere :)

And as if by magic an offer appeared this morning!!!! Now to find a day next week to go flying and I may just make it. Weird as I had a strange premonition last night that I'd wake up to such an email this morning....

Hmmm, two people said they hadn't had one in a while and when they posted they received an offer! Well I'll tempt fate and put it out to the universe too ... only received one years ago which I couldn't use at the time and have been (patiently) waiting since.

Haven't seen one for years, and i got one this morning, have to book flights with in the next week. Really sad, no leave or money left, no bookings from me

That is a shame. I do have flights in the pipeline and I'm looking at some of them on REx at the moment.

I received an offer today.
But only valid for 7 days.
This is a bit unrealistic.
I am paid monthly - and my cards are still full from my 6 week trip to Europe!
If it was valid for a month I would use it to book fares worth about $4000 for travel at easter.

Couldn't agree more. I'm still waiting on a bonus from over 8 weeks ago. I did phone up after 6 weeks and they said it can take up to 8. Will give them another call, but for the small number of SCs involved it's hardly worth all this effort. If I ever get the SCs credited it will feel that I've definitely earned them rather than them being a 'bonus'.

First time in about 6 months with no forward bookings, hoping this may trigger an offer?

Well I called Qantas who said I wasn't eligible for bonus SC on that particular booking as my booking was made on Nov 24 and I accepted the offer on Nov 25. But the reality was I made the booking on Nov 25, 10 minutes after having accepted the offer. I think the confusion came about as my Amex invoice did have Nov 24 on it but the invoice also stated this was GMT time. In the end I needed to send a copy of this invoice to QFF.

A lot of hassle for 15SC. But kudos to FF in that after I sent the email the status credits were applied minutes later.

Maybe next time if possible I'll wait 24 hours after accepting an offer before making a booking.

And as if on cue - this morning I received another offer - but this time addressed to me as an Aquire member.
This one is more realistic - I have until February 29 to book.
Interesting that Aquire businesses are being given more favourable offers than QFFs.

Still nothing. Last one I got was 2 years ago :(
Now had to book another RTW trip with no bonus. This would've gotten me Gold I reckon.

Holy Carp. I got that email but because it was headed 'Points balance' I trashed it. But further down it mentioned Status Credit bonus. Holy carp.

Now I'll need to start reading those emails again. Usually I read up to my balance, then close the email.
