Has anyone got the 1,000 bonus points yet for the 10x transactions from this promotion?

I've only got the monthly points for balance, not the bonus.

Will be annoyed if they arrive after 31 Dec and doesn't get counted for the 'status credits on the ground' promo.

Its forgoing ~$30 for 2k points im ok with that. Interest rates are cough atm. Now if RBA puts rates up i might move that $10k.

Does the balance for points include money in the Savings account or just the balance of the Transaction account? I can't seem to find this detail on the website.

I only found out about this recently and opened the account a few days ago. It was a quick process - set it up late one night and the confirmation came through in the early hours the following morning. No idea how they would calculate your points average if you opened the account partway through the month. Whether they factor the days your account wasn't opened into the average calculation is not in the T&C document.

Depends on your position as always, the double points until the end of April may be beneficial for some - even if for just one month. YMMV

Also their savings account (which is different from the txn account that earns QFF points) is now paying 5.1% no hurdles.

For compariosn

NAB is 5.4% (1% + 4.4% bonus) but they require deposits and no withdrawals for thebonus.

Westpac Life is paying 5.5% (0.6% + 4.4% bonus) if balance is higher at end of month, so you can withdraw as long as you deposit more.

Qudos pays 4% interest on its points account, and only 4.85% on bonus saver but requires $100 deposit and no withdrawals.
