Amex's Application Pop-Up Warning Explained
Receive a pop-up warning during an Amex application telling you that you're not eligible for the bonus? Here's why this happens.onemileatatime.com
Approx two months ago I was finally approved again for QF Ultimate. Canāt remember the gap unfortunately sorry, but I did enter a US Amex number on the application, not sure if that helped.Wondering if anyone has recent approvals after previous declines, and if so, how long had passed between the last decline and approval?
Been a few months since I've tried for P2, but she's now been declined a few times across the last 12-15 months and I'm wondering how long to wait between apps...

Had 0 credit card applications in that 12 months though.Wondering if anyone has recent approvals after previous declines, and if so, how long had passed between the last decline and approval?

I am a sole trader
Good take the points where you can these days.Tried for an ultimate card about 6-8 weeks ago. Rejected. Had it previously about 18 months ago.
Not too sad.
Anyway, saw the Velocity Escape Plus with the 50k bonus. Applied, just took the lowest limit. They called up and wanted to speak. Couldn't, so I called back 2 days later. Approved.

50k is 50k.
Different card, different acceptance criteria!Thinking back it may be longer since I last had the card, would have to check the spreadsheet, but was surprised they gave it to me after a rejection not so long ago.

i used to churn about 3-4 cards annually for the past few years but took a break for about 6 months where i closed off a few cards and didn't apply for any new cards during that time. this week i applied for Amex Qantas ultimate and specifically requested a low credit limit $6k just to meet the minimum spend, but i got the "we will get back to you in 5 to 10 business days" which i assume to mean rejection.Wondering if anyone has recent approvals after previous declines, and if so, how long had passed between the last decline and approval?
