So one of the good lads over at skyscrapercity.com has posted

"Can confirm that Plaza Premium and American Express will be opening new lounges soon. They will take over the United & old Air NZ lounge spaces."

Will be good fun lounge hoping between CX/QF/PP/Amex over the space of 2 hours... ;)

Really nice if real.

Nice!! I love having options!

Pretty keen on the airport eating places though - tried BNE and SYD once each and really rate it!

Hope they gutter United...
Last time I was there it was dated and ugly..... Did a walk thru and said nope not using PP here.

Thanks for the good news. I will have an international flight in the morning next Tuesday. Try to be the first PP client there.

Can priority pass be used in Melb?
Details please here now and PP in pocket was going to use in Bris.
Very slow phone to find info aahhhh

Woo hoo! Finally something for Melbourne. Two places now added to Priority Pass and showing in the app after update. Both in Terminal 2: Bar Pulpo by MoVida and Urban Providore.

Fantastic to have some options for food instead of the CX/QF lounge. Does anyone know whether there is a daily limit on the number of restaurant visits? ie. Urban Providore for breakfast, Movida for second breakfast.....

No daily limit :) I once used 3 visits within ~4 hours and all got accepted, so all good!

Hmmmm. Mrs D was non-plussed with the PP offers in Melbourne last month. Personally, I thought the food options were way better than the SQ lounge but she was having none of it. So, SQ J lounge it was.....
