If yes, then I assume you have to click yes to the question asking you if you have another AMEX card?

Does anyone know if you pay an AGL Gas bill via this card using PAYPAL will this incur any credit card fee or does PAYPAL make it $0.00?

Edit: Online AGL chat says upto 1% charged?

Amex gave me $3k limit on Edge so looks like I got the min. Will need to transfer a limit from another card.

When applying, they have the key facts sheet, and it says $3k is the min limit.

I got fee free and 10k points. Already had 2 Amex credit cards and had to close one before getting this one approved.

Just to clarify as a NOOB with Plat edge this card??.... I book and use the free flight this year and book a flight for next year before expiry/anniversary date of card. Therefore can get two flights for annual year free on card?
If you have booked the second flight and cancel the card you still get the second flight????

You cannot book 2 flights BEFORE your anniversary date.
They give you two weeks grace AFTER which allows you to book 2 flights from 2 years at the one time.

I have done this multiple times with both Edge and Reserve Cards.

but why would you bother for $195?

Well for example I use it for MEL-BNE return which is worth more than $195 (though so far it has only been $165 for me. I book 2 flights every second year for my wife and I to travel together)

Entertainment Book allows you to buy them with Amex and considers it a supermarket so you get the best of both worlds.

Do you have to subscribe to the entertainment book to get this offer?

Yes you can pay it with paypal, on your amex without surcharge. I pay my gas bills this way.

You may never receive the card that you are waiting on.

I ended up applying three times within one month, before the card arrived. The first two applications just "disappeared". Much misinformation during numerous phone calls from AMEX over progress.

Having said that, my experience with AMEX, other than for this, has been excellent.

Maybe it was stolen from your mailbox. Hate how some CC companies say they will only send it to residential address.

Worth jumping on, or is it better to wait for the next Amex promotion?

There's a Velocity amex promotion, 60k free points but $395 fee if you're just looking for VA or KF points.

There is a watered down version with no flight and only gives 2ppd at Supermarkets & Petrol stations which is $0 first year and $80 thereafter. 10k points if referral used. Its the Amex Platinum Rewards.

Finally card arrived..... One piece of paper..... No further info????? Online activate page failed to load. Phone activation was best had and even allowed pin selection! Basic looking card though.... Thought it maybe shinnyer???
