With a $1,450 annual fee, this metal card is not for everyone. But the return on investment for the high annual fee is strong, as it comes with a lot of useful benefits! Does Business Plat discussion belong here?

Running into a strange issue where the Dell $125 benefit isn't showing up in my offers so I'm unable to enrol in it. Attempted to manually apply it through the "Save now" button on this page, but it redirects me to `/offers/error?reason=INELIGIBLE` with the info notification "Sorry. There are no available offers for this Card"

I've tried getting in contact with Amex customer service, but they were thoroughly unhelpful and just told me to contact them after 31 Dec if I wasn't able to use it. What an awful response??? I was planning on making a purchase on Dell in the near future too. It doesn't seem right for them to advertise a benefit and then make it unusable.

With the recent points devaluations, non-renewal of some of the better benefits, and overall erosion of any worthwhile benefits, Amex's value was already on the decline but even customer support seems to be experiencing enshittification. The CS agents I was passed around to were both overseas too. What a shame

Pretty easy to deal with- keep the chat log as your evidence of a complaint being lodged and then go straight to afca.
