Saw this at JB's. Is this a breach?

JB as a small retailer must be having a hard time negotiating a fair deal with Amex and Diners. Maybe they should just get themselves a square account.

What!!? JB is a big player, and they just took over The Good Guys. The big boss doesn't like Amex probably. You can always buy JB gift card at Woolies to maximise the points with Plat Edge + eGift card.

How does everyone pay via Postbill pay, via the Australia Post app or on their website?

Most of my bills have an AMEX/PayPal option and I've only tried the ones that don't with Postbill pay via the app and it's always come up with unsupported when I scan the barcode and I haven't tried entering it on the website to see if it works on there.

I use the web site.

Website. I hate using most apps.

I was just being facetious. There must be some adverse history between Amex and JB for this policy to have been in place like this. Most large retailers just absorb it as a cost of doing business and the volume of business they do, I’m sure they can negotiate a better rate than they’re quoting.

I tried that and the machine rejected it, and the sales person asked if it was amex so it obviously tells them.

Interesting. Maybe their terminals have been upgraded because I have definitely paid by Amex without surcharge, but not within the last 3-6 months.

Maybe it's just reading the threads here, but I am yet to hear of a positive customer experience coming from JB Hifi.
The replaced on the spot a samsung Galaxy s8+ i bought from them around 2 months prior after noticing a tinge on the bottom part of the screen. Also they have price matched a MYER eBay promotion for me @ 20% off iPad Pro 10.5inch.

I like them. Also all this talk about JB reminding me of this deal which is pretty good

14.5% off if purchased with discounted e-giftcard and also 3 pts $1. Anyone know if they come in 100s or 200s?
