AMEX DEVALUATION

I have over 3mill AMEX points & am transferring to AVIOS I want to know is this the best option to transfer due to the devaluation coming up soon? It has many options to transfer between airlines mainly Qatar and British airways… any other ideas please? I mainly was thinking for Europe flights out of Australia BNE or SyD.

I have over a million Amex points accumulated over many years that I want to use for reward flights or flight upgrades in the next few years. Since Amex is changing the conversion rates to different airline loyalty plans from December 15 or so, the smart thing to do seems to be to transfer my points to an airline before then.

Based on your experiences with availability of award flights and/ or upgrades, what would be the best airline loyalty program(s) to convert my Amex points to? Any key things I might need to consider?

Where should you transfer your Amex Membership Rewards points to before the devaluation?

Amex Membership Reward points will be more expensive to use after 15 December 2025. Here's where you could transfer them now.
