Amex D-Day Approaching (14/4/19)!

Amex membership rewards seems not working now , anyone have same issue ? I am trying to clear out all my ascent premium.

I’ve turned over around $20k each day the last week and a half, today I accidentally paid off the card twice so tomorrow will be $40k, and leaving them time on Friday and the weekend to clear. Explorer Card will go after Shop Small in November.

It’s very very buggy no doubt from increased traffic. I got an online chat agent to help complete my points exodus! Weird seeing a 0 balance.

Contacted Online Chat, they provided a Link - and went thru. Did a test 25,000 points to SQ just now, see how long it takes to arrive.
And planning to clear the rest Friday AM - 4M+ jizzzzzzzzzz

What you can do, use platinumpay website for 1.95% fees ( everyday with amex explorer ) Hammer it like no tomorrow ( Its like buying amex points at 1c for 1 point ). I maxed out my explorer $50k

Fair enoigh. I don't value them that high personally so it's outside my surcharge range
Plus I can't get tax deductions for them

But i wish they did

I've only got another $50k to spend before the weekend (small beer compared to cove and friends)- then that's bills prepaid to 06/2019; at least I have been blessed with the doubling. Suppliers are loving me at the moment when I ask to pay early. The key is to stay well enough to spend the points.

YEP!! Started panicking when only option showing was gift cards but managed to find a back door to airline points. Phew.
Balance zero now!

Oh, I'd move a bit sooner - if website buggy tonight it could be a nightmare by Friday as the exodus ramps up!

I would be moving it out sooner than Friday. For the sake of an extra day, it brings peace of mind. I was going to wait until then to transfer all of ours out too, but decided to move the bulk Monday and have been transferring 100k every day since, especially since the reports of it being inaccessible.

PlatinumPay is run by an AFF member @ferni best to message him for the detail. He can usually turn a new account around quickly but challenge is ensuring the payment posts before the MR changes next week to get current earn rate.

Just transferred the bulk of my points over to KF using the mobile version of Chrome, all went seamlessly, exactly like the past times I've done the same transfer months ago. No problems to report here
Will transfer the remaining points + whatever posts between today and Saturday, on Saturday itself.
Once Saturday 14 April 11:59pm hits, the gravy train (the generous one that we've all been riding so far) will have well and truly stopped. There will be a new train, albeit just a lot slower (i.e. the majority of users being able to only earn 1.5 FF/$ at the very maximum).
