AMEX acquires lounge buddy. Closed the deal April this year. They already have priority pass membership associated so it's intriguing they've acquired this.
 
I've noticed they're using it for the Lounge Search utility, although I'm having a few problems with it. It's fine for a few searches and checking the info of a few lounges, then I'll abruptly just start getting blank pages instead.
