I know some people always rely on CC insurance and I know you always have to read the fine print but I'm sure most purchased ones would do death cover

It does death cover if the accident is onboard the transport/ in the airport etc.

It’s not general accident insurance / death benefit eg if you are walking along a beach and fall off a cliff that’s not covered.
That’s some fine print that I’m sure the majority of people aren’t aware.
Another reason not to rely on Credit Card TI sadly .
