which is what I do but apparently you can put the booking on hold and call up to pay (with an Oz CC).

I’m getting stuck with this.
I’ve priced out a route on google flights, which will take me to the AA site to pay.
When I go to pay it requires a US address for credit card, same with PayPal, which I don’t have.
If I go with AU card it redirects to the AA local site at which point I can’t recreate the flight.
Am I missing something here, any help would be appreciated.
