Any recent experience with getting the fee waived?

Off course as a Homeloan customer although I guess you can also now use that you have experienced any financial difficulty requesting an interest deferral. I’ll at least be using this when I request my homeloan package fee be waived shortly especially since I’ve now cancelled the black CC.

I think I'm going to cop it this year as have a year to go on interest free promo so those savings easily cover the annual fee. Might just downgrade to a less expensive card next year as I'm no longer interested in Altitude points just want to preserve my limit should I re-assess Westpac's offering down the track.

yes good idea to hold on to that credit limit if its large for future offerings as its harder now to get approved for new applications. just hope they offer that no annual fee for life promo for the plat 55 day card again so wife can do a product transfer to hold on to the credit limit.
