I think the booking engine is riddled with traps for new players. From my prior reading I got around the 'search via individual airline and time' trick, then avoided getting my name messed up by not choosing a salutation for myself, and armed myself with several different credit cards for payment just in case. Unfortunately I fell into the 'no final confirmation before payment' trick and didn't realise I made a passenger spelling error, which sent me directly into the purgatory of the call centre. :)

I still haven't figured out how to use the multi-city search option. How the heck are you supposed to drive that!? Actually, I might take the question to the LM thread... I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere here or on FT...
