I decided to book BNE-NTL due to the new Alliance F100 services and am curious as to what sort of service is offered on the Alliance operated flights?

Good question, not hot drinks if its like the QF charters!

Alliance to OLP, so not F100, has a pretty decent meal serve for lunch say nice decent ham and cheese sandwich, nothing spectacular but fresh and solid. Also a decent snack pack. Certainly better than what qantas offer.

I can now answer my own question for those interested. I flew on DJ1102 BNE-NTL this morning and the cabin crew are Alliance in VA uniforms with small Alliance badge, service is standard DJ service with flexi meals and cart for everyone else, Voyeur magaine in seat pockets and DJ branded safety cards. The F100 is quite nice to fly on with good leg room (32"+) in standard rows, was in 9G. Yes the planes are old which shows in the style of the cabin but seats in good conditon and appears well maintained.

So may be the better of the options between ATR and F100? Although I must admit (begrudgingly) that the ATR did have reasonable legroom. I'm not sure of the pitch (too lazy to check) but I think it may belie the reality due to the clever seat shape (I said clever....not comfortable )
